Dr. Pranav Rathi is an excellent orthopaedic doctor cum surgeon and a true gem of a person.I was diagnosed with L4-L5 lumbar nerve compression wherein the disc was completely damaged and required immediate surgery in next 24-48 hrs. I was in tremendous pain as my left leg functioning had weakened (amlost foot drop) and I could barely walk. It was a panic situation for myself and my family. Dr. Pranav Rathi's detailed and speedy guidance made the entire medical journey simpler for all of us. Although I am residing in Thane i had complete faith for Dr. Pranav Rathi based in Andheri. Dr. Pranav Rathi made all the swift and seamless arrangements in Andheri and made me comfortable. Dr. Pranav Rathi, operated me specifically for a major spine surgery - laminectomy+disectomy. Dr Pranav Rathi is not only an excellent orthopaedic surgeon, he is a magician in orthopaedic surgery. My dad fell down at night and broke his hip bone. He was in immense pain and Dr Rathi immediately helped in getting him admitted. Dr Rathi also helped in quick completion of formalities for surgery. I was introduced to Dr. Pranav Rathi by a family Friend. Very patiently he listened to the problems I was facing and then demonstrated with help of props what he thinks the issue is. Than very gently he applied some pressure and showed the difference in movement of leg and concluded that it was a tear of Achilis Tendon, a very common athletic injury which I had suffered while playing badminton. I was recommended for an immediate surgery for the same, He advised, if left untreated it would only worsen the condition. He also recommended me to get USG done so he could microscoply pin point the operational area and the surgery is minimally invasive. All routine test such as blood test, ECG, covid test etc as recommended by him along with MRI were conducted and he accepted all reports even on whatsapp since covid restricted our frequent visits and started preparation for surgery after my consent. 3 days later as per my convenient time I was operated at a Hospital nearby. Before the start of Operation, I was explained in detail the procedure from this point on for surgery to full recovery. All my questions and queries were answered by Dr. Pranav in details and all doubts were cleared to my satisfaction. During surgery I was fully aware of my surroundings, anesthesia was given only to my lower half of the body. I requested for my favourite music to be played in OT which he promptly organized. The almost 3 hour surgery was conducted successfully. Post surgery he showed me the videos of the open scar how the shear looked like before and the improvement after repair. I was shifted to the recovery on the same day. Dr. Pranav visited me in the Room and explained me the entire process they had undertaken and reassured me everything is under control and recovery is expected as envisaged. The nursing station was given special instructions to ensure I don't have any pain by giving me regular pain killer injections and meds, and after confirming I was not having any nausea or pukey feeling from anesthesia, Dr. Pranav very kindly organized the 2 miniature pouches of distilled water from OT, since I was having very dry throat and after surgery and as per the general practice water is not served to patients for atleast 12 hours. Dr. Pranav organized the visit of Physiotherapist the same evening as my surgery. I had limited mobility by the evening once the anesthesia effect subsided and the Physio gave me some very simple exercises and training to walk with the walking aid. After 2 days of regularizing my bandage was changed, the wound and stitches looked absolutely perfect and a solid cast for 3 weeks have been put. I complained of a little discomfort with the cast, upon which Dr. Pranav trimmed it to the safe level and also to suit my convenience. Then we had a wonderful chat for almost 1 hour and when Dr. Pranav was satisfied, I have now shifted to the halfway house for the next 3 weeks. Succeeding to it Dr. Pranav will remove the cast and also the stitches. I am confident I took the right decision to treat via surgery but the even more important as selection of right Surgeon and certainly Dr. Pranav has done a very fine job. I am happy to give 5 Star+ Rating to Dr. Pranav and highly recommend him for all Orthopedic treatments. Infact I have already shared his details to a friend whose son is suffering from Flat Foot. Dr Rathi is one of the best Doctors . My mother had a fall and had fractured her L1 vertebra . This happened during COVID 19 in June and on a request He visited home Because she could Not move. He arranged for home x rays and prescribed medicines which got her 90 percent normal ( Age 70) in 3 months .... He has also been extremely kind and polite on all our phone queries regarding medication and follow up etc . God bless him and I highly recommend him ...

Dr Pranav Rathi, is an excellent Dr. and surgeon. Indeed, the most treasured of the doctors and that I have been privileged to get treated by him. My right wrist was fractured in 4 pieces and I was in severe pain, however Dr. Rathi ensured that the pain reduces quickly. He provided us a detailed and an easy-to-understand explanation of the issue and assured that everything will be completed smoothly and accurately. With the ongoing covid pandemic, fetching a good hospital was pain, however he ensured that we get an admit in a non-covid hospital. An emergency surgery was scheduled within 48 hours of the incident. He ensured that appropriate care is taken at ths hospital and called at regular intervals to check on me. Eventually the surgery was successfully executed and I was discharged within 48 hrs of the surgery. Dr. also assisted us in with insurance claims and provided the required additional bills for claim purpose. Dr. Rathi took utmost care and hand-holded us at every step of the process. Everything was well explained. He was always available to guide me at every step of the process. I definitely recommend Dr. Pranav Rathi for all orthopedic needs and care.
